"Twelve years after Kyoto was founded, a young priest named Kukai returned from a brief sojourn in China to establish the Shingon Sect of Buddhism. Over the centuries, this new sect was to become one of the largest and most popular in Japan, and its founder's reputation was to grow apace. Recognized in his own day as a master calligrapher and an accomplished sculptor, Kukai is revered today as the inventor of the kana syllabary, the basis of written Japanese. Legend also credits Kukai, in this ninth-century wood carving, with the introduction of tea to Japan."

"Vive sólo en el momento presente, con la participación enteramente a la contemplación de la luna, la nieve, la flor de cerezo y la hoja de arce ... no se deje intimidar por la pobreza y no dejar que brille en su rostro, pero deriva como una calabaza en el río, esto es lo que se llama ukiyo ".

"Vivre uniquement le moment présent, se livrer tout entier à la contemplation de la lune, de la neige, de la fleur de cerisier et de la feuille d’érable… ne pas se laisser abattre par la pauvreté et ne pas la laisser transparaître sur son visage, mais dériver comme une calebasse sur la rivière, c’est ce qui s’appelle ukiyo".

    

      

Japanese words 一期一会 ichi-go-ichi-e: This proverb to come from tea ceremony.It means "This time meeting you in this way is the only once that never comes round. Therefore let's think this moment to be important, and do the highest entertainment that can be done now. This is knowledge of the first on the list of the tea ceremony of Sen no Rikyu. In other words, it means that you may meet the person again and again, but you contact with a person with resolution that it is likely not to meet.
